A natural, cultural approach

G-2 Blühende Geschichten. I have created some embedded stories, which I am calling Blühende Geschichten for your classes. I have seen some real improvement in reading skills as a result. How am I using these stories? This year I am projecting the stories for all to see right before taking a quiz on a particular chapter. I have students translate the main stories (which turn red on subsequent pages). Then we guess the meanings of any new vocabulary/expressions that come up in the stories.
